So, I’ve pondered, is being open one year, like celebrating a Birthday? Or an Anniversary? I like to think, Birthday’s can be incredibly fun, especially when a surprise is involved! So I want to share a little bit about how I plan to celebrate this week with all of you!
I want to Gift a few of MY favorites from Southern Life to you… But here’s the surprise, I’m not just gifting items from MY store, I’m gifting items from Other stores on Kavanaugh too!
Yes, you read that correct – I’m sharing the love all around this week. When opening, I knew I couldn’t sell everything to everyone… In fact, many days I suggest another store, when I feel a customer is looking for an item I cannot provide.
Which is why I felt it was just as important to give back to the neighborhood, and to these businesses, as it was to give something to all of you. Without these stores being open everyday, providing a community, and support to one another, The Heights would not be the same! So a little thank you to each store owner this week – and to all of you (shoppers) too!
And NO, none of these gift cards were given to me, I Personally Paid for each one! In fact, not one store knew I would be doing this – I wanted a little surprise for them, to celebrate our birthday!
A few of the giveaways will look something like this:
A gift card to Boulevard, where I get coffee 2 days a week, and eat brunch every other weekend, paired with one of my best selling mugs.
A gift card to Eggshells, where Lindsey has the most incredible cooking supplies, and classes! Its my go-to for all things kitchen, I have my eye on a new Lodge skillet pretty soon – I’ll be paring that gift card with one of my favorite cookbooks!
A gift card from Bella Boutique, where I buy ALL of my pajamas. Guys if you haven’t bought a good pair of PJ’s from Narcissa, you’re missing out! I’ll be pairing that gift card with a few soaps of sorts from Southern Life.
